Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival in Casablanca

Upon arrival at Casablanca, the most important metropolis in the country, you will be transferred to your hotel. In case you arrive early, we will start by visiting the fascinating great mosque Hassan II which has been handcrafted to flawlessness. It is the largest mosque within the kingdom and the fifth-biggest mosque in the world and can host up to 105 000 worshippers. If you arrive within the evening or afterward, you’ll be able to unwind in your deluxe room.

Day 2 Casablanca – Rabat

After breakfast in Casablanca, we’ll complete the city introduction on the off chance that we did not have the opportunity to visit on the past day due to late arrival, after that we are going head to the political and administrative Capital city of Rabat. In Rabat, home of the king, we will visit the charming Kasbah of Oudaya and it´s lovely garden, the Challah or Shalla, a medieval fortified Muslim necropolis, and last but not least the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan Tower which is the minaret of an incomplete mosque built-in 1195. The tower was intended to be the largest minaret in the world. After we wrap up our sightseeing of Rabat, check-in at your Riad and spend the rest of the day relaxing or strolling around the Abou Regreg river.

Day 3 Rabat – Chefchaouen

We will continue our journey to the picturesque city of Chefchaouen, found in the center of the Rif Mountains. A vivid town known for its blue-washed walls, steep narrow streets, and a maze of alleyways. This quiet and charming town is a visual delight. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 4 Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

We leave Chefchaoun, we go back in time to the 3rd century to the Roman city of Volubilis, a UNESCO world heritage site. During the 60 minutes tour, you will see the house of Orpheus ,Decumanus Maximus and Triumphal Arch, the house of Dinysus ,and the house of Dionysus. After exploring Volubilis, continuing to the imperial city of Meknes, the capital of Morocco under the reign of Moulay Ismail (1672–1727). Where we will stop to get a picture of the stunning Bab Mansour el-Aleuj (Gate of the Victorious Renegade) and visit the Granaries and Royal Stables where Moulay Ismail used to stock his 20 000 horses. We stay in our Riad in Fes.

Day 5 Fes Guided Tour

Today, side by side with your local born and bred Fes guide you will ride on a time machine and let Fes´ labyrinthine streets take you back in time. Fes which was considered Mecca of the west and Athena of Africa comprises three districts: Ville Nouvelle, the newest part of town built during the French protectorate. Fes-Jdid or New Fes, domestic to the Royal Palace and Jewish Quarter. Fes El Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site founded in the 9th century and is home to the world’s oldest university, The University of Al-Karaouine, founded in 859 which is still operating to this day. Your tour will include: – Gateway of the Royal Palace and the Jewish Quarter – Pottery and Tiles complex – The Tanneries – Medina of Fez with its “souks” (markets), – Bou Inania Medersa and Al-Karaouine university.

Day 6 Fes – Midelt -Ziz Valley – Erfoud

Today we will finally start our adventure to the desert. Through this long drive, we will pass through Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” due to its affinity to a Swiss Alpine resort to take some photos. We then head to Ifrane National Park to see the monkeys that live in this Cedar Forest. Lunch will be scheduled in the Berber town of Midelt before we continue driving through a series of fortified villages and Ziz Valley with its 283 different types of palm trees and finally getting to your Kasbah hotel in Erfoud to get a much-deserved rest.

Day 7 Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)

Since Fossils are a major industry in Erfoud, we can start our day by visiting a Fossil complex before we travel to Merzouga via the holy City of Rissani a former major caravan hub, where we will visit the Mausoleum of the founder of the Alaouite Dynasty of Morocco, Moulay Ali Chrif in the 17th century. Continuation to the village of Khamlia known for its spiritual Gnawa music. Arriving Finally in the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, where your camel is awaiting you for a once-in-a-lifetime 1-hour long trek while watching the sunset to spend a night under the stars in a luxury desert camp.

Day 8 Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge

With an early morning to catch the fabulous sunrise, a tasty breakfast in the middle of the dunes, then a leisurely camel ride back to your car we leave to Todra Gorge, a narrow canyon with sheer stone cliffs 300m (985ft) high. Here you can enjoy a hike among these astonishing canyons, palm groves, fig trees, and grapes. Later, we will continue through Dades Valley where we will see the extraordinary rock formations known as Monkey Toes.

Day 9 Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

We depart for Marrakech, through Kelaa Magona, the Valley of the Roses. This valley gives birth to the Persian rose from which locals produce different cosmetic products like rosewater, soap, perfumes, and skin creams. Continuing to “Hollywood of Africa” Ouarzazate, home to the 17th century Kasbah of Touarirt, and several Hollywood-caliber movie studios. We then move to Ait Ben Haddou, a well-preserved Kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site to enjoy a 1-hour tour. Several films and tv-shows have been shot on this site, such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), Gladiator (2000), Alexander (2004), and Game of Thrones (2013). Finally, we cross the High Atlas Mountains by the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, with an altitude of 2260m (7417ft) is the highest pass in Morocco to reach Marrakech.

Day 10 Marrakech Guided Tour

Alongside your local guide, today we will discover the mysteries of “The Red City” of Marrakech. During our visit, we will see the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, The Bahia Palace, and get lost in the narrow streets and alleyways of the Medina with its colorful Souks and skilled Artisans. Wrap up your visit to Marrakech in Djamaa El Fna Square, an open-air theater and restaurant active with its storytellers, performers, snake charmers, water seller, and food carts.

Day 11 Free day (Explore Marrakesh at your own pace)

You’ll have the whole day to explore Marrakech. Relax by the pool, visit Majorelle Garden, enjoy a cooking class, experience a Moroccan Hammam and SPA or visit and hike the High Atlas mountain If you are looking to be more involved.

Day 12 Marrakech – Essaouira

After Breakfast in Marrakech, we leave for Essaouira, a lovely fishing town. On the way, you´ll see many Argan Trees, which are economically and ecologically vital to the area. Goats frequently climb those Argan trees. Stop at an Argan Oil’s Women’s Cooperative where you can discover more about the oil’s wide-ranging uses, from cosmetics to medicine. Once in Essaouira, Enjoy the afternoon exploring this charming city. Stroll the beach, visit the rampart called Skala (The Battery) left by the Pirates, get lost in Medina and its endless crafts shops, and don’t forget to relish fresh local fish for lunch by the port.

Day 13 Essaouira – Casablanca

We’re going to head for Casablanca again except this time we’re going to travel along the breathtaking Atlantic coastline with a few stops along the way to visit small towns like Safi, known for its pottery work, and Oualidia, known for its golden sandy beach. Once in Casablanca, we’ll drop you off at your hotel, just 6 kilometers (4 miles) from the airport.

Day 14 Departure Day

Unfortunately, our journey has come to an end, hopefully with lots of stories and memories. we will arrange a private transfer to the airport according to your flight details.
