Ouzoud Waterfalls

Overview

Ouzoud Waterfalls day trip is one of the most popular trips from Marrakech. We leave your accommodation after breakfast and travel towards the high Atlas Mountain, passing over fields of olives groves, Berber hamlets, and arriving at the picturesque site of Ouzoud.

At 100 meters (3298 ft) high, Ouzoud Falls is the highest waterfall all over the Kingdom of Morocco and North Africa. It’s a very popular getaway among locals to escape the fast pace of the city for tranquility and beautiful scenery. You will enjoy a wonderful walk alongside a local guide throughout the cascades to visit the old water mills that are still in service and see the local monkeys in the fig trees and carobs. You can cross the river by the local wooden boats as well if you wish.

After we finish our stroll, we’ll have lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the waterfalls. Return to Marrakech by 5:30 p.m. in the afternoon and drop off at your accommodation.
